How to transform a Risk into a Task

By selecting the appropriate Workflow State

A Task can be created from a Risk once the last Workflow State is reached.

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Select the Risks tab, available in the Work workspace.

  3. In the Risks Home Page – Single project selection, click on the Risk Name of the Risk card to open the Risk dialog box.

  4. After having reached the "Closed" Workflow State (WorkflowAction), the user will be prompted to select specific actions from a pop-up display.

  5. Click the Create a Connected Task button.

  6. In the Task popup, select a task in order to have the newly created task inserted as a child after the one selected.

  7. In the Task Details dialog box, enter all the information related to the new task.

    Note

    The Task Name will be fulfilled automatically with the Risk Name. The Name can be modified.

  8. A connection is created.

  9. In the Risk dialog box, the Connections section is automatically activated displaying information regarding the connected Task.

  10. The newly created task is now displayed in the Gantt view.

By creating a Connection

To perform this action, the Workflow State Vote must be set to “Closed”.

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Select the Risks tab, available in the Work workspace.

  3. In the Risks Home Page – Single project selection, click on the Risk Name of the Risk card to open the Risk dialog box.

  4. Click on the Connections button to display the Connections section.

  5. In the Connections section, click on the Create & Connect button and select Task to open the Task popup.

  6. In the Task popup, select a task in order to have the newly created task inserted as a child after the one selected.

  7. In the Task Details dialog box, enter all the information related to the new task.

    Note

    The Task Name will be fulfilled automatically with the Risk Name. The Name can be modified.

  8. A connection is created.

  9. The newly created task is now displayed in the Gantt view.
