How to add Cost Items to a Project

Before being assigned to tasks, Cost Items must be added to the Project.

Warning

Only Cost Items that are part of the Project Team can be assigned to tasks.

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Select the Work workspace, Gantt tab.

    1. Select a project in the Project Data Selector.

    2. In the Main toolbar, click on the Edit (EditColor) button to open the Project Administration dialog box.

    3. Select the Team folder, Cost Items sub-tab.

  3. OR, select the Administration workspace, Team tab.

    1. Select a project in the Project Data Selector.

    2. Select the Cost Items sub-tab.

  4. Click on the New (NewProject) button to select the Organization branch to which the Cost Item is attached to. Then, select the Cost item in the list.

  5. The Cost Item card of the newly created Cost Item is added to the view.
