The Resource Usage Gap Analysis allows the user to review the effort that has been allocated by the Resource Manager, as opposed to what has been planned by the Project Manager, and how the Resource is actually being used. It makes it easy for the Project Manager to not only identify any gap but to also pinpoint over-assignments and assignments created outside the allocation boundaries.
Log in to the HTML5 client.
Select the Resources workspace, Project Allocations tab (PM).
Select a project in the Project Data Selector.
Click on the DASHBOARDS button available on the lower right-hand side of the screen.
In the Project Allocations Dashboards full screen view, select the Resource Usage Gap Analysis tab.
Proceed to the Resource Usage Gap Analysis.
Click on the Close (
) button to close the Project Allocations Dashboards full screen view.
