How to connect two Issues

This feature is interesting if an Issue is a duplicate of another Issue.

Settings

The steps described below are the ones when the Enable Work Items Home Page Charts option is enabled by the Administrator in the System Settings workspace, Work Management Settings folder, Global Options tab.

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Select:

    1. The Work workspace, Work Items tab, if you want to connect an Issue related to a Project.

      Then select a Project in the Project Data Selector.

    2. The Portfolio Work Management workspace, Work Items tab, if you want to connect an Issue related to a Portfolio.

      Then select a Portfolio Folder in the Data Selector.

  3. Click on the number of open Issues in the upper right corner of the Issues Chart section to open the Work Item full screen view, Inbox tab.

  4. Select an Issue in the Work Items List panel.

  5. In the Work Item Details view, click on the Connections button to activate the Connections section.

  6. In the Connections section, click on the Connect to existing Issue button.

  7. In the Issues list, select an Issue.

  8. Issues are now connected to each other.
