How to attach an Action to an Issue

If an Issue has been raised and some Actions need to be done, it can be interesting to attach Actions to the Issue.

Settings

The steps described below are the ones when the Enable Work Items Home Page Charts option is enabled by the Administrator in the System Settings workspace, Work Management Settings folder, Global Options tab.

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Select:

    1. The Work workspace, Work Items tab, if you want to attach an Issue related to a Project.

      Then select a Project in the Project Data Selector.

    2. The Portfolio Work Management workspace, Work Items tab, if you want to attach an Issue related to a Portfolio.

      Then select a Portfolio Folder in the Data Selector.

  3. Click on the number of open Issues in the upper right corner of the Issues Chart section to open the Work Item full screen view, Inbox tab.

  4. Select an Issue in the Work Items List panel.

  5. In the Work Item Details view, click on the Actions button to activate the Actions section.

  6. In the Actions section, click on one of the following commands:

    1. Connect to Existing command if Actions have already been created.

    2. Create & Connect command to create an Action and attach it to the selected Issue.

  7. Click on the (search_clear22_md.png) button in the upper right corner to close the full screen view.
