How to enter a Calendar Request

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Go to the Calendar workspace.

  3. Click on the calendar cell on which the request is to be made. The Edit Calendar dialog box is displayed.

  4. Select the start and finish dates of the absence in the "From" and "To" fields.

  5. Select the type of absence in the "Work Day" pick-list.

    Settings

    Absence types are defined by the Administrator in the Designer Time Tracking view, Non-Projects tab.

  6. If necessary, expand the Work Ranges section by clicking on the arrow (ArrowRightSmall) icon to enter specific time ranges for the absence.

  7. Click on OK to validate the action and close the dialog box.

  8. Submit the request by clicking on the corresponding button in the bottom right corner of the view. As a consequence, the Calendar Status read-only field indicates "Submitted" and the Calendar is no longer editable.
