Accessing the Cost Impacts popup allows the user to review the potential impact on the selected project cost if the Resource Manager grants him/her the Resources as he/she requested.
Read-only fields are displayed in the upper section of the popup as reminders of the origin of the displayed costs: Request Cost Source, Hard Allocation Cost Source, and Soft Allocation Cost Source.
The Cost Source values are set by the Administrator in the System Settings workspace, Resource Settings folder, Allocations & Commitments tab.
The Cost Impacts spreadsheet provides the following information regarding the selected request: Organization, Job Classification, Skills, Workflow State, and the time-distributed Requested Cost.
Below the request, the corresponding Hard and Soft Allocations are displayed (if any) with the following information: Name, Organization, Job Classification, and Skills, followed by the time-distributed Allocated Cost.
The Time Navigation toolbar is available in the upper section of the popup for the user to select which time frame and intervals to display in the spreadsheet.
