This Deliverable field indicates to which Gate a Deliverable is attached; once attached to a Gate, this Deliverable should be checked for completion during the Gate Review process.
Note
A Deliverable can be both attached to a Task (e.g., a Phase) and have a Related Gate.
Upon creating a new Deliverable, if the Task to which the Deliverable is attached is a Gate, then the Related Gate field will automatically be filled in with the same task.
Warning
For legacy purposes, in some screens, when the Related Gate is empty and the Related to Task field has been filled in with a task with a “Gate” workflow, then the “Related to Task” field will be taken into account for filtering.
