How to create a new Idea

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Select the Idea Center workspace.

  3. Select an Idea Folder in the Idea Folders Selector.

    Note

    When creating a new Idea, make sure that only the relevant folder is selected in the Ideas Folder data selector, located on the left-hand side of the view. Otherwise, the idea will be created in the first folder among those selected.

  4. In the Overview mode (viewmode_activegridgeneric22_md.png), click on the New (NewProject) command available in the spreadsheet toolbar. As a consequence, the view automatically switches to the Details mode (viewmode_activedetailsgeneric22_md.png), with the newly created Idea made current.

  5. Make sure you enter a Name for the newly created Idea.
