Version

A given project can have up to fifteen different versions. Those versions will be available in the corresponding Data Selector, and the Version field will be displayed in the Project Administration workspace spreadsheet.

The fifteen possible Version values are described below:

Published

The read-only version of the project that is mainly used to display information and track actuals.

Working

The editable version of the project that contains the most recent changes. This is the only version that can be published.

Working 2 through Working 11

Alternative versions of the project that can be saved as snapshots prior to making changes to the Working version.

Objective

The primary objective version of the project.

Note: Objective Versions are no longer used by default in the Sciforma Solution since the 7.1 version. The feature is now covered by the Business Case project Nature.

Objective 2 through Objective 3

Alternative versions of the objective project that can be saved as snapshots prior to making changes to the Objective version.

Note: Objective Versions are no longer used by default in the Sciforma Solution since the 7.1 version. The feature is now covered by the Business Case project Nature.

Template

A template is a project from which other projects, or portions of projects, can be created.
