Sciforma includes safety precautions that allow the user to delete projects from the Sciforma database system.
As a primary precaution, only those projects with an “Inactive” status can be purged. This prevents the actual removal of a required project.
Once a project is deactivated by the Project manager in the HTML5 client, the Administrator will then be able to purge the project in the Designer. Purging a project is a permanent action.
Even if a project is deactivated, it will still be displayed in the Data selector, so that the project manager can reactivate it at any time. However, if a project is purged, it will no longer be displayed.
Log in to the HTML5 client.
Select the Projects Center workspace and open the Project Card.
Click on the More () button available in the Main toolbar.
Select either the Deactivate selected version command or the Deactivate All Versions command.
If the project's status is "deactivate", select the Activate command to reactivate the project.
A deactivated project will be displayed with a red diagonal line () in the Project Data Selector.
