Project Permissions

Project Permissions are settings within Sciforma that control what users within Projects can see and do.

There are different types of Project permissions in Sciforma, and they range from lowest permissions to the strongest permissions:

  • Project Permissions – Specify the permissions allowed to users for accessing the project.

  • Workflow Permissions – Specify the permissions allowed to users for accessing the project which has a specific workflow.

  • Workflow State Permissions – Specify the permissions allowed to users for accessing the project which is at a specific workflow state.

Warning

When a project is assigned a workflow, permissions are entirely determined by the workflow definition. No attention is paid to the Permissions field of the project.

Settings

Project Permissions, Workflow Permissions, and Workflow State Permissions are defined by the administrator.

Those permissions can be fulfilled automatically and in read-only if they are conditioned by a Project Type.
