The Remaining Duration represents the amount of time remaining to be completed on a task within the project.
It is recommended that the Remaining Duration field be updated after the Completed Duration field, to accurately indicate the amount of time completed. Entering just a Remaining Duration will only adjust the overall duration of the task and will not change the Completed Duration.
