The Date Formula Field is a text field that indicates the origin of the value of the Date field. When the Date Formula field displays a date, the transaction's Date is a fixed date.
When the Date Formula displays a formula, the value of the Date field is the resulting value of the displayed formula.
Clicking on the Browse (
) button displayed the Transaction Date dialog box, wherein users can specify a fixed date or create a date formula.
