By default, the Business Case Workflow in Sciforma is the following:
By default, the Default Permissions (Users allowed to read or write the object) and the Default Responsibles (Users responsible for moving an object from one state to another) are set to all users at the Workflow level.
Workflow State | Definition |

New | Initial Workflow State of the Business Case upon creating it. |
Submitted | Once the Business Case has been assessed and the macro planning done, the user submits the Business Case for approval. |
Approved | Upon marking a Business Case as Approved, the user indicates that the Business Case passed the approval process, but without taking any action regarding the Business Case yet. |
New Project | Upon marking a Business Case as New Project, the user indicates that the Business Case passed the approval process. He/she will be prompted to create a new project, which will be connected to the Business Case. |
Connected | Upon marking a Business Case as Connected, the user indicates that the Business Case passed the approval process. He/she will be prompted to select an existing project to which the Business Case will be connected. |
