Méthode du chemin critique

La méthode du chemin critique (CCPM) est l’une des techniques de base de la gestion de projet. Elle permet aux chefs de projets de déterminer quand les activités peuvent être réalisées et de prévoir les effets que pourraient avoir des événements affectant le planning sur l’ensemble du projet. En situant les activités sur un calendrier, elle sert également à planifier les budgets et prévoir les besoins en ressources. Cette méthode peut s’avérer extrêmement utile pour des projets relativement simples, mais elle est quasiment indispensable pour les projets plus complexes. En effet, elle sert de base à toute une série d’opérations relatives au contrôle du projet, notamment la définition du budget et les mesures de performance.
