Log in to the HTML5 client.
Select the Projects Center workspace and open the Project Card.
Select the Administration workspace, Setup tab.
In the Home Page Features section, click on Gear () button available on the right-hand side of the Dependencies row.
In the Dependencies Advanced Attributes popup dialog box:
Switch on the Allow the tasks to be a source option.
In the Task as Source field, select:
All – Enables all tasks of the Source object to be a source.
Custom – Enables only some tasks of the Source object to be a source. If so, those tasks will need to have their checkboxes ticked in the Allow Dependencies field.
NoteThis field will have to be added as a column in the Gantt spreadsheet.
Do not forget to publish the Source object.
Do not forget to give Read permissions to the Project Manager of the Target object.
Log in to the HTML5 client.

In the Dependencies Advanced Attributes popup dialog box, select the Default Mapping type:
Image – Information about the source (Project or Task) is displayed as symbols in the Gantt but has no interaction with the Target Task itself. This mapping type is used for informative purposes.
Copy – The Target Task mirrors exactly the Source data. The Target task is overridden. Indeed, the Source (Project or Task) has a direct impact on the Target Task.
Selecting a Default Mapping is not compulsory as mapping types can be chosen in the Create a New Dependency popup upon dependency creation.
