Story Points

Story points are the quantified evaluation of the effort necessary to carry out a given item’s development. Agile teams generally prefer to express estimates in units rather than the time-honored “man-day” or “man-hour”.

Assigned Points

Quantified evaluation of the effort that has been assigned to resources and which is necessary to carry out the iteration.

Baseline Points

Quantified evaluation of the effort necessary to carry out given iterations that is captured when the iteration starts.

Budget Points

Quantified evaluation of the effort budgeted necessary to carry out the iteration.

Remaining Points

Quantified evaluation of what is left to do on the Iteration.

Team Member Budget Point

Quantified evaluation of the effort that a Team Member can dedicate to the Product Backlog. In this way, the Agile methodology takes into account the fact that each Team Member does not have the same efficiency and works differently than the others depending on his/her level of experience, skills, etc.
