The Baseline Cost is automatically captured upon saving a Baseline.
At the assignment level, this field displays the planned total costs attributable to this assignment through both its completed portions and remaining portions.
At the project level, this field displays the planned total costs attributable to this project through both the completed portions and remaining portions of all assignments (both Cost Item assignments, Labor assignments, and Transactions costs).
By default, Sciforma spreads the Baseline Cost across the time periods of the task that have baseline units. The current baseline costs associated with each period are proportional to the size of the current baseline effort or units for that period.
