The Rate Source of a Cost Center whose type is “Effort” defines the Rate that should be taken into account when computing the Monetized Amount of the Budget.
This Rate is defined by the Administrator and can be viewed and/or managed in the System Data workspace, Cost Centers tab.
The Rate Source can be one of the following:
Organization | The Rate corresponds to the Organization Cost (as entered in the System Data workspace, Organizations tab). |
Job Classification | The Rate corresponds to the Job Classification Cost (as entered in the System Data workspace, Job Classifications tab). |
Custom | The Administrator directly enters a Custom Rate for the Effort Cost Center in the System Data workspace, Cost Centers tab. |
The Administrator must associate the Organizations and Job Classifications to some Cost Centers when using the corresponding Rate Source.
