Work Items Dashboards full screen view

The Work Items Dashboards full screen view provides a series of views for the user to easily review all the Work Items of his/her project, as well as the Activity Stream.

Actions tab

Overview mode

The Overview mode (viewmode_activeoverviewgeneric22_md.png) provides a series of charts for the user to quickly review the progress of the selected project Actions.

These charts are the following:

  • Actions by Workflow State – Shows the number of Actions by Workflow State. 

  • Actions Outlook – Shows the number of Actions by Due Date.

  • Actions by Assignee – Shows the number of open Actions by Assignee.

  • Created Actions – Shows the number of newly created Actions over time.

    Note

    If the Show Closed (ShowHide) display option is activated, the number of closed Actions over time will be displayed as well.

Assignees mode

The Assignees mode (viewmode_activeresourcedetails22_md.png) provides the list of Actions sorted by Assignee and Workflow State.

The following Actions attributes are displayed: Key, Name, Related Task, Type, Estimated Date, Due Date, and Committed Date.

In addition, the following alerts can be displayed:

Planned_Beyond_Due_Date.png

Planned Beyond Due Date

Indicates that the open Action Estimated Date falls after the Due Date.

TriangleRed

Overdue

Indicates that the Action is open and that the Committed Date (or Due Date if the Committed Date field is empty) falls before Today’s date.

Upon clicking on the Edit (EditColor) button for an Action, the corresponding Action dialog box is displayed.

Grid mode

The Grid mode (viewmode_activegridtable22_md.png) provides a spreadsheet listing the Actions of the selected project.

The available Action attributes will differ depending on the view selected in the main toolbar display options (CarouselGrey):

Prioritization (default)

Flag, Key, Name, Parent, Related Task, Type, Priority, Assignee, Due Date, and Workflow State Vote.

Key Attributes

Flag, Key, Name, Type, and Workflow State Vote.

Export Only

This view will display the maximum number of columns (it is not meant to be readable, but only exported using the spreadsheet Print options).

Upon clicking on the Edit (EditColor) button for an Action, the corresponding Action dialog box is displayed.

Issues tab

Overview mode

  • Issues by Type – Shows the number of Issues by Type.

  • Issues by Workflow State – Shows the number of Issues by Workflow State.

    Note

    If the Show Closed (ShowHide) display option is activated, the number of closed Issues over time will be displayed as well.

Indicates that the Issue is open and that the Committed Date (or Due Date if the Committed Date field is empty) falls before Today’s date.

These charts are the following:

  • Deliverables by Type – Shows the number of Deliverables by Type.

  • Deliverables Outlook – Shows the number of Deliverables by Due Date.

  • Deliverables by Workflow State – Shows the number of Deliverables by Workflow State. 

  • Deliverables by Assignee – Shows the number of open Deliverables by Assignee.

The Estimated vs Completed mode (viewmode_activeroadmap22_md.png) allows the user to compare the number of Estimated and Completed Deliverables (according to the entered Estimated and Completed dates) over time.

Change Requests tab

Overview mode

These charts are the following:

  • Change Requests by Workflow State – Shows the number of Change Requests by Workflow State.

  • Change Requests Outlook – Shows the number of Change Requests by Due Date.

  • Change Requests by Initiator – Shows the number of open Change Requests by Initiator.

  • Created Change Requests –Shows the number of newly created Change Requests over time.

    Note

    If the Show Closed (ShowHide) display option is activated, the number of closed Change Requests over time will be displayed as well.

Upon clicking on the Edit (EditColor) button for a Change Request, the corresponding Change Request dialog box is displayed.

Activity Stream tab

The Activity Stream tab shows the Activity Stream for the last seven days of the selected project. The user can take advantage of the “From” and “To” fields to define a specific time frame.

Settings

The number of elements displayed is conditioned by the "Set Dashboard Details Max. Records" setting available in the System Settings workspace, General Settings folder, Global Options tab.

Each Activity Stream entry provides the following information: Creator, Work Item Key and Name, Type of event, as well as the date and time of the event.

Upon clicking on the Work Item name, the corresponding Work Item dialog box will be displayed.

The following types of event records are available:

New Note

Indicates that a new Note has been created for a Work Item.

New Work Item

Indicates that a new Work Item has been created.

Workflow

Indicates that the Work Item Workflow State Vote has been updated.

Moved

Indicates that the Work Item has been moved.

Assigned

Indicates that the Assignee field of the Work Item has been updated.

In addition to the options available in the other Filters popup, the Activity Stream tab provides the following filtering options:

  • From/To – Allows the user to only display events from a specific timeframe.

  • Type – Allows the user to only display a specific type of event.

  • Creator – Allows the user to only display the events whose Creator has been selected.
