How to connect two Actions

This feature is interesting if an Action is a duplicate of another Action.

Settings

The steps described below are the ones when the Enable Work Items Home Page Charts option is enabled by the Administrator in the System Settings workspace, Work Management Settings folder, Global Options tab.

  1. Log in to the HTML5 client.

  2. Select:

    1. The Work workspace, Work Items tab, if you want to connect an Action related to a Project.

      Then select a Project in the Project Data Selector.

    2. The Portfolio Work Management workspace, Work Items tab, if you want to connect an Action related to a Portfolio.

      Then select a Portfolio Folder in the Data Selector.

  3. Click on the number of open Actions in the upper right corner of the Actions Chart section to open the Work Item full screen view, Inbox tab.

  4. Select an Action in the Work Items List panel.

  5. In the Work Item Details view, click on the Connections button to activate the Connections section.

  6. In the Connections section, click on the Connect to Existing Action button.

  7. In the Actions list, select an Action.

  8. Actions are now connected to each other.
