Portfolio Project Details dialog box

The Portfolio Project Details dialog box displays the Project Objectives belonging to the selected Portfolio Folder and contributing to the same Objective.

Header

The header provides the Key information regarding the Objective:

Name

Indicates the name of the Objective.

Description

Gives the description of the Objective.

Final Weight

Indicates the final weight of the Objective, which is calculated as the average value of the weights of the Objective’s tree branch, taking into account all the parents of the Objective.

Manager 1

Indicates the person in charge of the Objective.

KPI

Indicates the Name of the KPI.

KPI Target

Indicates the value needed to be reached for the Objective to be considered as completed.

Current

Indicates the Current value of the KPI.

Health

Provides the Objective's Health indicator.

Workflow State

Indicates the Objective Workflow State.

Note

When accessing the Portfolio Project Details dialog box from the Portfolio Center workspace, Objectives view, the Portfolio KPI Target and the Portfolio Current values will be displayed.

Project cards

Each attached project is represented in the form of a card that provides the following information and tools:

Project Information section

Nature

Indicates the Nature of the project.

Workflow State

Indicates the Workflow State of the project.

Name

Indicates the Name of the project. Upon clicking on it, the corresponding Project Brief dialog box is displayed.

Manager

Indicates the person in charge of the project.

Completion

Indicates the number of days before or beyond the project’s Finish date.

Labor Effort & Cost

Indicates the project’s Total Effort and Total Cost.

Health Score

Indicates the project’s Health Score. Upon clicking on it, the Health Score Details popup is displayed.

Alignment tile

The Alignment tile display differs depending on the options selected in the Strategy Definition dialog box.

When the Strategy Alignment feature is deactivated, the Alignment tile is not displayed.

When the Strategy Alignment is enabled and the “Project Management” option is set to “Manual”, the Alignment tile displays the following information:

  • Alignment Level – Indicates how much the Project is aligned with the Objective.

  • Alignment Score – Represents a combination of the Alignment level and the Corporate Objective’s Final Weight.

  • Edit – Opens the Edit Alignment Value popup, allowing the user to define the Alignment level.

Current tile

The Current tile display differs depending on the options selected in the Strategy Definition dialog box.

When there is no tracking feature, the Completed indicator will be displayed.

It allows the user to mark and unmark the Project Objective as completed by clicking on the Checkmark icon.

When the tracking is made at the Project level, the Current tile displays the following information:

  • Objective Current value

  • Objective Health Indicator

  • Objective Target value

  • Edit – Opens the Track Values popup.

When the tracking is made at the Project level but the user is not enabled to edit the tracking information, the Current tile displays the following information:

  • Objective Current value

  • Objective Health Indicator

  • Objective Target value

  • Details – Opens the Track Values popup in read-only.

Settings

The “Enabled User Roles for Project Objective Target and Current Modification” setting, available in the System Settings workspace, Strategy and Benefits Settings folder, defines which users can edit information in the Current tile.

In addition, the following tools are provided in the upper right corner of the card:

Notes

Indicates whether or not there are new notes, and opens the Notes dialog box.

Provides access to the following commands:

  • Mark as Completed – Allows the user to indicate the Objective as completed.

  • Unmark as Completed – Allows the user to indicate the Objective as not completed.

  • Edit the Project – Opens the Focus Mode full screen view.

  • Remove Attachment – Allows the user to delete the Project Objective.
